Late Winter, Contrasting Scenes

Living in Shiloh I'm very aware of the seasons.  Now we're on the verge of spring.  Rosh Chodesh Nissan is in two days.  It's amazing how some plants look frighteningly dead.

grape vines in early March, late Adar

And other plants, like the wild flowers and roses are blooming.

I love my neighborhood!

And just a reminder... Women are invited to join us for Women's Rosh Chodesh Prayers.

Lovely thoughts, lovely photos! Ah, spring is right around the corner :-)
Our pear tree started blossoming and so did the rimon tree. HaShem is awesome!
Thanks for the post!

Shalom!
Our fig tree has sprouted buds and I'm waiting to see the grape vines spring to life. I love watching the seemingly dead sticks grow leaves and later tiny bunches of grapes which slowly ripen.

Miryam, Hadassa, thanks.
Next Shabbat we bless the blossoms...
